Rugby fans can look forward to a big night in Dublin when Leinster take on Cardiff Rugby in Round 3 of the 2026/27 United Rugby Championship. The match takes place on Saturday, 10 October 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm at the newly redeveloped Laya Arena in Ballsbridge.

The fixture marks Leinster’s first competitive home game at the Laya Arena since its redevelopment and follows the province’s return to the venue for a pre-season fixture in September. The revamped stadium has been upgraded after two years away, bringing a fresh look to one of Leinster rugby’s traditional homes.

Expect an energetic matchday atmosphere as Leinster welcome Cardiff for an early-season URC contest. Whether you are a long-time supporter or visiting Dublin for the rugby, this is an opportunity to experience top-level provincial rugby in the heart of Ballsbridge.

With the action beginning in the evening, fans can arrive early, soak up the matchday atmosphere and settle in before kick-off.
